Mission Statement
FaithRide seeks to connect riders, drivers, churches, ministries, and supporters through a faith-centered ride-share network that strengthens communities through transportation, compassion, and service.
1. Purpose of the Supporter Program
FaithRide Supporters may voluntarily contribute funds to help FaithRide provide approved one-way ride assistance within participating communities for faith-based activities and essential community needs.
Supporter-funded ride assistance may be used for:
- Christian church services
- Bible studies and prayer meetings
- Christian conferences and ministry events
- Senior ride assistance
- Veteran ride assistance
- Ride assistance for Individuals with disabilities
- Doctor appointments and other essential non-emergency medical visits
- Community outreach and ministry activities
Supporter-funded assistance is intended to complement FaithRide's regular paid ride-share service and does not guarantee free transportation to any rider.
2. Eligibility, Approval, and Available Funds
Supporter-funded rides are subject to FaithRide's eligibility and approval requirements. A rider's eligibility for an assistance program does not automatically guarantee that a particular ride will be funded or approved.
Approval may depend upon:
- Available Supporter funds
- Rider eligibility
- Driver availability
- Local service coverage
- Distance of the requested ride
- Community demand
- Program priorities
- Safety or operational considerations
3. Local Service Area and 20-Mile Limit
Supporter-funded assistance is intended primarily for transportation within a rider's local community and surrounding FaithRide service area.
Requests exceeding 20 miles are not ordinarily eligible for Supporter-funded assistance.
The 20-mile limit applies to the Supporter-funded assistance program and does not necessarily establish the maximum distance permitted for regular paid FaithRide rides. FaithRide may further restrict service areas or ride distances based on driver availability, funding, safety, operational capacity, or local program requirements.
4. Church and Ministry Transportation
Because FaithRide's mission includes helping connect people with Christian community and fellowship, Supporter-funded assistance may be considered for:
- Church services
- Bible studies
- Prayer meetings
- Christian conferences
- Ministry programs
- Christian community events
- Participating outreach activities
When available resources are limited, FaithRide may establish reasonable program priorities consistent with its mission and community needs.
5. Medical and Essential Transportation
Supporter-funded assistance may be considered for participating non-emergency transportation such as:
- Doctor appointments
- Medical treatments
- Pharmacy visits
- Other approved essential healthcare needs
6. Senior Ride Assistance
Eligible seniors may request Supporter-funded transportation for participating needs including:
- Church participation
- Medical appointments
- Pharmacy visits
- Essential community needs
- Other approved local transportation needs
7. Veteran Ride Assistance
Eligible veterans may request Supporter-funded transportation for participating needs including:
- Church participation
- Medical appointments
- Pharmacy visits
- Essential community needs
- Other approved local transportation needs
FaithRide may require reasonable verification of veteran status before approving participation in the Veteran Ride Assistance program.
8. Disability Ride Assistance
Eligible individuals with disabilities may request Supporter-funded transportation for participating needs including:
- Church participation
- Medical appointments
- Pharmacy visits
- Essential community needs
- Other approved local transportation needs
FaithRide does not require riders to publicly disclose a medical diagnosis merely to identify themselves as an individual with a disability. FaithRide may establish reasonable eligibility or self-certification requirements for participation in the program.
FaithRide's ride-share service is not a substitute for emergency medical transportation, ambulance service, or specialized medical transportation when those services are required.
9. Fair Use Policy
FaithRide seeks to distribute available assistance responsibly so that Supporter funds can benefit as many eligible riders as reasonably possible.
- The number of funded rides per rider may be limited.
- Ride frequency may be restricted.
- Funding limits may be established.
- Requests may be reviewed according to availability and program priorities.
- Repeated cancellations, misuse, fraud, or inaccurate eligibility information may result in denial or suspension of assistance.
- FaithRide may establish additional reasonable program limits as operational experience develops.
10. FaithRide Supporters and Contributions
FaithRide Supporters may include individuals, churches, ministries, businesses, and organizations that voluntarily provide financial support to FaithRide's transportation and community-support programs.
Supporters:
- Do not provide ride services merely by making a contribution.
- Do not determine which individual riders receive assistance.
- Do not become employees, drivers, agents, contractors, owners, members, or representatives of FaithRide merely by contributing.
- Do not receive control over FaithRide operations or ride-approval decisions.
- Are not guaranteed that a particular rider, church, event, city, or ride request will receive assistance.
A Supporter contribution does not create an ownership interest, membership interest, voting right, management authority, or contractual right to direct FaithRide operations.
11. Designated Support Funds
FaithRide may allow Supporters to select a particular Support Fund when making a contribution, such as:
- Church Events Rides Support Fund
- Veterans Rides Fund
- Senior Rides Fund
- Disability Ride Support Fund
- FaithRide Expansion Fund
FaithRide intends to administer designated Support Funds consistently with the stated purpose of each fund.
Selecting a Support Fund does not guarantee assistance to any particular individual, ride request, church, event, or community. Assistance remains subject to eligibility, available fund balances, driver availability, service-area coverage, program limits, safety considerations, and FaithRide policies.
12. FaithRide Expansion Fund
Contributions specifically made to the FaithRide Expansion Fund may be used for reasonable costs associated with establishing, developing, maintaining, or expanding FaithRide services, including:
- Technology infrastructure
- Regulatory and licensing expenses
- Safety initiatives
- Community launch expenses
- Administrative and operational expenses
- Driver and rider program development
- Establishing FaithRide service in additional communities
Contributing to the FaithRide Expansion Fund does not create an ownership or investment interest in FaithRide LLC.
13. Contributions Are Not Investments
Supporter contributions are voluntary payments made to support FaithRide programs and activities. They are not investments, loans, securities, ownership purchases, or deposits.
Supporters should not expect:
- Financial returns
- Interest
- Profit distributions
- Equity
- Repayment
- Ownership rights
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise by FaithRide, processed Supporter contributions are generally non-refundable.
14. Tax Treatment of Supporter Contributions
Supporters should consult their own qualified tax adviser regarding the tax treatment of any payment or contribution.
15. No Guarantee of Assistance
No Supporter contribution guarantees that:
- A particular rider will receive assistance.
- A particular ride will be approved.
- A driver will be available.
- A particular church or ministry will receive transportation support.
- FaithRide will operate in a particular city or community.
- A Supporter-funded program will remain available indefinitely.
FaithRide retains responsibility for administering its programs according to available resources, applicable law, safety requirements, operational capacity, and FaithRide policies.
16. Program Changes
FaithRide may modify, expand, limit, temporarily suspend, or discontinue a Supporter-funded program when reasonably necessary because of:
- Funding availability
- Regulatory or legal requirements
- Insurance requirements
- Driver availability
- Safety concerns
- Operational capacity
- Community demand
- Program effectiveness
- FaithRide's mission and service priorities
Material policy changes should be reflected in the current version published by FaithRide.
17. General Disclaimer
FaithRide is a ride-share platform and faith-centered community network. Participation in a FaithRide assistance program does not create a contractual entitlement to transportation, financial assistance, future funding, or approval of a particular ride.
Supporter-funded transportation remains subject to applicable FaithRide Terms of Service, Code of Conduct, safety requirements, eligibility requirements, service-area limitations, and applicable law.

FaithRide Supporters help provide ride opportunities for church services, Christian events, seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those facing ride challenges while helping expand FaithRide into underserved communities.
